¢ AUDIOMONSTER/MELON
³Comments From the studio musician,
Andreas Stenhager:
¹The tunes I'd the opportunity to hear
from this guy were all quite strange;
his samples all have low quality but
he uses them in his own personal way
that gives the songs a different sort
of feeling from other amigasongs.
Sometimes he loses the control over
the beat, for an example in the tune
'Alcoholic Store', where the hammond
and drums go loose without a fixed
idea. When Audiomonster uses
guitarsamples, he tends to play them
in a way that sounds unnatural even
though it is fun listening to his
ideas. He has a good sense of melody
and although his songs not always are
clear when it comes to the sound, his
ideas mostly give the tunes a personal
style that make them worth listening
to. I think this guy should try
sampling at a better samplerate, even
though that means bigger songs.
³Diesel comments:
¹Audiomonster has topped the charts for
many times, but I've never understood
why. Yes, he is good, but not the
best. I think that the scene has
somethings to thank him for, though.
He shows us how to use protracker
ultimately. He knows every command as
if he'd used them since he was born.
He has also taken the 70's back to
digital computers by sampling strange
sounds which he uses in his own way.
Sometimes he really succeed, but
sometimes not.
